Upcoming Events: Game Watching and Beer

Almost as good as sitting court-sideJack Rose will host a Court-side Happy Hour where fans can 'Eat for Free, Drink for Almost Free' during March Madness. From the Sweet 16 round on, Jack Rose will air games on the rooftop terrace and serve up free food like spicy Buffalo Hot WingsChilaquilesCheese Tots and Pork and Beans. And libations will be "almost free" with $5 punch, pints and whiskey (select beers/whiskeys) on their rooftop terrace which now features 20 new draft lines. Annual Craft Brewers Conference Beer Events at Jack Rose Dining Saloon:  The Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) has chosen to host its annual show in the increasingly-popular small brew destination of DC from March 26-29 and Jack Rose is hosting a week of exciting, beer-focused events to celebrate!

·         Thursday – DC Craft Beer Tour: Join us on a Craft Beer Tour of 5-6 of DC's finest beer establishments - one of the premiere stops being Jack Rose. From 6-11:30pm in Jack Rose's Balcony Room, guests can chat with the owners of 21st Amendment, Elysian, Uinta and more and taste rare specialty beers. ·         Friday – “EPIC” Tap Takeover:  Starting at 5pm, an "epic" conclusion to CBC week, Jack Rose's 20 brand-new taps will be overtaken by some of the most unique, hard-to-find beers from Utah's Epic Brewing Co.  

Art and Soul re-launches Saturday Supper Series in April: Chef Wes Morton will be holding intimate, family-style monthly dinner series starting with the Wild Harvest supper on April 13, 2013, to celebrate spring. The dinners will be held the second Saturday of the month and begin with a reception and passed hors d’oeuvres before moving to a seated, four-course meal complete with drink pairings and life music. The events begin at 7 p.m. and cost $65 per person or $30 for diners 16 and younger, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Eat for a good cause at a participating restaurant for the 17th annual Dining Out for Life fundraiser on Thursday, April 25th, 2013. Join thousands of diners from across North America to stand up against HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses by sitting down at local restaurants that have pledged 25% to 110% of the day’s proceeds to directly benefit Food & Friends’ programs and clients. Food & Friends provides specialized meals, nutrition counseling and friendship to people living with serious illnesses in our nation's capital and surrounding areas. Since 1988, Food & Friends has provided more than 15.8 million meals to more 22,600 individuals, and has helped family members, friends, and loved ones provide care and support.
