Looking for a farmer's market, unique crafts, and tasty breakfast options? Look no further than going to Eastern Market (conveniently located on the Blue and Orange metro lines). Eastern Market is the perfect place to go on a beautiful fall morning. The market stands have the freshest fruits and vegetables, including some great samples. I love to try the apples and apple cider!! Also, inside the market has delis, sweets and the best blueberry pancakes in DC. Be sure to try Market Lunch for their blueberry buckwheat pancakes, since people rave about them! The area has many shops and restaurants to take a look around at! On Saturdays the market is open from 7am-6pm.

Free! I love that word; especially when it involves wine. Every Tuesday from 6-8pm at Bistrot Lepic, a representative from the wine industry will showcase two wines for tasting. Located at 1735 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., this is the perfect day to take a date to Georgetown, enjoy a few libations, walk around the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks, and take advantage of the fall season.
