Thinking of Drinking: Champagne Cocktails

Break out the bubbly!  Try my Italian Kiss Cocktail or 11 Pipers Piping featured in the Capital Cooking Cookbook.  Add some sparkle to your evening.

2 shots DiSaronno amaretto
Orange Juice
Maraschino Cherries

Pour 1 shot of amaretto into each champagne flute. Fill flute with champagne but leave a little room at the top. Put a splash of orange juice in each glass. Garnish with cherries.  Serves 2.

Or how about a French 75...

1 shot Beefeater 24 Gin
1 teaspoon Wholesome Agave Syrup
1/2 ounce lemon juice

Shake first three ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice.  Strain into champagne flutes and top with champagne.  Cheers!

Kir Royale

1 shot Chambord

Chill the Chambord and put a shot in the champagne flute.  Fill with Champagne and garnish with a lemon twist.  Pretty!
