Citi put on an incredible party to kick off the Citi Open Tennis Tournament. The night was full of food, awesome music from the DJ, and lots of photo-ops with tennis all-stars.
The menu for Taste of Tennis was incredible, with rows of Mini Kobe Sliders by the Bridgewater Club, delicious BBQ prepared by the Host Chef of the Citigold Lounge and Chef of Succotash Edward Lee, incredible sweet & savory pies by the Pie Sisters, sweet Peach Cakes by the Chefs of Iron Gate, and Chef of the Year Amy Brandwein made amazing Pesto & Burrata cups!
My favorites of the night would have to be the giant bowl of Spicy Pineapple Guacamole made by the remarkable chefs at Mi Vida and the delicious Tropical Punch made with Diplomatico Rum!
The Citi Open Tournament still has tons of sessions left to attend. You can look at the schedule on their website and buy tickets here! You don’t want to miss out on watching these awesome players on the court.

History of the Citi Open:
In July of 1969, the inaugural tournament became one of the first open professional tennis tournaments held in the United States. The Citi Open, formerly the Legg Mason Tennis Classic, has since been part of some of the most innovative changes in tennis, including blue courts, instant replay/video boards in the stadium, US Open Series, Sunday Main Draw start and, starting in 2009, an ATP "500" level tournament. Continuing that theme, the Event introduced a WTA International Level tournament in 2012.
