Tribute to Fathers: Chef Kaz Kazmi

Kaz Kazmi, chef/owner of Merzi, loves to make breakfast with his kids.  Here's his favorite recipe below.  Happy Early Father's Day!
Waffles:

2 Cups Bisquick Mix
1 1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup vanilla essence
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 tbs oil
1 tsp orange essence
2 tbs lemon juice
1 beaten egg
Fresh fruit (strawberries, grapes, cherries)

Mix the dry ingredients first.  Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.  Pour appropriate amount into waffle maker and cook so it is just browned Cut fruit into pieces and place on top of waffles Pour syrup onto waffles Top with whipped cream.

Eggs

4 eggs
2 tbs cream
salt
1/2 tsp paprika
pinch of white pepper
2 tbs lightly salted butter

Melt butter in small pan (make sure the flame is very low) Mix all ingredients together Pour mix into pan (ensuring the flame is very low).  A low heat will result in very silky moist scrambled eggs.

Mix until just done but not quite done, transfer to plate As eggs sit on plate they will harden a little further.  Enjoy the waffles and eggs together with a tall glass of milk
