Thinking of Drinking: Meleto

Jeff Faile, Bar Manager at  Fiola, makes some amazing cocktails.  This one screams fall and winter flavors.  I'm not normally a huge fan of whiskey, but this one is good!

Meleto is Italian for apple orchard. 

1 shot apple and cinnamon infused rye whiskey*
1 oz of lemon juice
.5 oz of Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur
.5 oz of honey syrup.

Shake over ice and strain into a martini glass.

* take a rye whiskey and infuse it for three days with cinnamon and honey crisp apples.
