Celebrate the Holidays with Washington Wine Academy

This week the Washington Wine Academy is hosting a holiday wine tasting and tour on Thursday night. The evening begins at their Crystal City location with a tasting of ten wines, 5 whites and 5 reds. The wines vary in varietals from Riesling to Zinfandel, so there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and provides great detail on the wines coupled with fun stories about varietals from around the world.

Following the wine tasting you will be whisked downtown to the National Tree for a little holiday cheer. Here you can get your picture taken with Santa, find the tree representing your home state, warm up by the Yule log and possible catch a musical performance by a local choir or children’s group.
This event would make a great date night so sign up while there is still time! For more information and to purchase tickets visit www.washingtonwineacademy.org click “events”.
