Friday Night Game Roast at Watershed

Have you been to one of the fabulous roasts at Watershed?  If not, you've got to check it out when they pick up again in February.

For only $75, you can enjoy a delicious meal with friends with local beer and an awesome band!  The Walkaways Band performs live music throughout the whole evening.  We loved the October Fish Fry, but the Game Roast was even better.

We were greeted with Port City Optimal Wit Beer, Warm Quail Eggs in Toasted Brioche, Country Style Pate with Toasted Pistachio, and Todd's Grilled Oysters.

The suppers are served family style and this time we stared with a Watershed Waldorf Salad.

Then a Hunters Style Mixed Grill: Roasted Venison Denver Leg, Cider Brined Roasted Game Hen, Pheasant and Port Wine Cherry Sausage with Roasted New Potatoes with Rosemary and Braised Collards with Spanish Onions.

We ended the meal with Chablis Poached Pear with Whipped Armangnac Vanilla Cream.
A great time was had by all.  Even if you missed last Friday's feast, you can check out some upcoming Friday Suppers at Watershed beginning in February.
