Out to Brunch: Capitol City Brewing Company

By Claire Goldman

With all the snow and freezing temperatures the Washington area has been enduring lately, you may be getting a bit of cabin fever from trying to stay in your warm apartment until first bloom. But it’s time go out and brave the cold, people! The perfect cure for the winter blues is boozy brunch and Capitol City Brewing Company is a great option for your early afternoon weekend destination.

With it’s wallet friendly $9 bottomless Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosas from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM on the weekends, Capitol City Brewing Company is a place where you and your friends could really get comfortable. If you’re more of a beer-for-breakfast type, you can’t go wrong with any of their signature brews.
As for CCBC’s brunch menu, they’ve covered all of the brunch basics. My personal favorite is the steak and eggs which is served with home-style potatoes on the side.
If you’re and eggs benedict-aholic type, try CCBC’s version which includes two crab cakes and doesn’t disappoint.

The breakfast tacos arrive with colorful presentation and the chefs are not shy about serving up large scoops of guacamole and sour cream for your topping pleasure.

Don't forget dessert!
