Uncorked: Entyse Yourself at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner

Between the Entyse Bistro offering breakfast dining, the Entyse Espresso Bar serving a range of hot and cold beverages and "to-go" breakfast and lunch options (and Georgetown Cupcakes), and the Entyse Wine Bar and Lounge offering a unique small bite and wine experience, you can easily satisfy your appetite at all hours of the day at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner.

At a recent event at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner I was able to experience some of the offerings of Entyse Wine Bar & Lounge.

With a full wine list that includes approximately twenty red and white wines, half a dozen champagne and sparking wines, and a dozen enomatic rare wine selections, wines available during the tasting included  Sonomacutrer Chardonnay Russian River RanchesNipozzano Riserva Chianti Ruffina, Alois Lageder Pinot Grigio, Meiomi Pinot Noir and Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc.  I enjoyed my glass of the rich Meiomi Pinot Noir.

While sipping on my glass of red wine, I was able to taste an assortment of local cheeses and charcuterie and cured meats from the Board Selection menu.

Smoked salmon crepes and Prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe with medjool dates were also passed around. The wrapped cantaloupe providived a well balanced salty and sweet combination.

For dessert we were offered bites both tart and sweet.  Though I generally lean towards anything fruit flavored, the Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate Bar was the winner  for me this time.

Citrus bar, made of grapefruit gelee, lemon mousse and lemon curd on sugar dacquoise

Now that I know that a return visit to Entyse Wine Bar and Lounge is in order, all that's left to decide is which day to visit. Entyse Wine Bar and Lounge offers a full schedule of events all month long, including Wine Flight and Cheese Tasting Tuesdays, Wine'd Down Wednesdays, Sushi Thursdays, Jazz Fridays, and Live Music Saturdays. For a full menu and calendar of events, visit Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner.
