Sugar Bowl Bakery Has Launched A New Must-Try Pastry!

The incredible Vietnamese-immigrant Family-Owned Bakery has launched a delicious new product – Button Cakes – and you don't want to miss it! You may recognize this brand for getting a shout out in 2013 by Obama when he was giving an example to a crowd about a successful immigration story. The company was founded in 1984 by five immigrant brothers as a small neighborhood coffee shop, and today is one of the leaders in developing delicious, high-quality baked goods.

This award-winning bakery is known for their delicious French treats and petite brownie bites, but  they have created a brand-new adorable (and kid-friendly) pastry to indulge in—The Button Cake. Their new miniature cakes come in four flavors: Tropical Mango, Wild Blueberry, Lemon Zest, and Madagascar Vanilla.

Although based in California, Sugar Bowl Bakery products are sold nationwide at various locations including Costco (My favorite place!), Safeway, World Market, Walgreens and other local shops.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when biting into the little treat—I am always hesitant trying store-bought pastries. When I tried the Wild Blueberry Button Cake, I couldn’t believe have soft and flavorful it was! The texture of the cake was impeccable, and the fruit was so fresh! Their Button Cakes remind me of a mix between the perfect mini muffin and cupcake combined (aka heaven).

All of Sugar Bowl Bakery’s Button Cakes contain real fruit and vanilla bean seeds, real butter and fresh eggs, and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.

Their new Button Cakes are the perfect treat to pack for your kiddos school lunch—everyone at their lunch table will be jealous! Their Button Cakes are also the perfect snack to have on the patio with the fam. The Button Cakes are now available in 8 and 16 count packages in retail stores throughout the United States. Pick up a few mini cakes today and let us know which is your fave!
