The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show is the premiere consumer event in the nation for cooking and entertaining enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. This flagship event in Washington, DC features more than 300 exhibitors, live cooking demonstrations by nationally renowned chefs, tasting and entertaining workshops, plus presentations from Food Network celebrities Paula Deen, Rachael Ray and Bobby Flay . The 2010 show will be held on November 13-14, 2010 a the Washington Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased online or you can enter our contest for your chance to win an Exclusive Experience! Also, when you're at the show, make sure to stop in to see me from 12:30-1p.m. for my Holiday Cocktail Demonstration.
The Grand Prize Winner will win two passes to the show and be showered with goodies from the cooking show vendors, signed autographs and photos with DC's best notable chefs, (Including Chef Mike Isabella and Chef Nicholas Stefanelli) signed cookbooks by cooking show demonstrators (Including The Sipping Point and Sunday in the South), and more!

Here's how to participate:
- Think about what is your signature dish that you are best known for when entertaining guests. What do you take to potlucks? What dish does everyone always ask you for the recipe?
- Leave a comment on either Dining in DC or Capital Cooking websites on the contest posting about your signature dish.
- You must Subscribe to both Dining in DC and Capital Cooking to win. Subscribers will be verified prior to announcement of winners.
