This year we worked with Lovettsville's Spring House Farm to put together a fantastic spring meal. Their meat is all pasture-raised and grass-fed as much as possible. They are most famous for their pork which gets it's amazing flavor while the pigs are roaming the farm's mountain lands feasting on mushrooms, grubs and even snakes, just like they would do in the wild. We could taste the freshness of the product and we were delighted to pair the meal with some amazing wines.

Most of us in the DMV have watched in awe as condos, offices, hotels and even a metro station have risen up from the ground in Tysons Corner, VA. Tysons has always been a shopping destination but now the area is reinventing itself as a destination for DC area diners.

The iconic Napa Valley winery has been producing highly-regarded wines since 1964, and the perennial favorites Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are the latest wines to receive a new polished look with newly foiled, all-silver labels emblazoned with Sterling Vineyards’ signature seal. I had the best time visiting the property a couple years ago. Cheers!

This Easter, add a little alcohol to your dessert. I'm always a fan of festive cocktails and Easter is no exception. I'll be making my Aunt Linda's Award Winning Carrot Cake, but I thought I'd have a little fun and make these shooters as well. It will be the perfect welcome treat as my guests arrive. Bottoms up!
