At our last Lamb and Fig Feast,
I made a variety of dishes including a Warm Black Mission and Kadota Figs with Goat Cheese. Kadota figs have a creamy amber skin with a light flavor similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. The Black Mission are probably the figs you are most familiar with. They have a purple and black skin with deep earthy flavor like a Cabernet.
