Recipe: Caprese Salad

Recipe: Caprese Salad
Serves 2

1 pint grape tomatoes (halved)
4 fresh basil leaves (cut into small pieces)
1 cup of fresh mozzarella balls (halved)
Barrel Aged Balsamic
Salt
Pepper
Roasted Tomato Dipping Sauce

Divide tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella balls equally into two salad bowls. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle the Roasted Tomato oil and Barrel Aged Balsamic on top.

Whether it is summer time or fall season, this is one of my favorite salads that my mom made for me growing up after her first trip to Italy. It is so fresh and easy to make that your whole family will enjoy. Also, you can make the Caprese Salad Bites for your next party and use the Roasted Tomato Oil and Barrel Aged Balsamic to make the perfect dipping sauce.
