I'm coming and I'm bringing deviled eggs (FARM FRESH!), I think. Whatever it is, it will definitely be a snacky appetizer.

It's on my way home from work, I'll be sure to stop by! What could I bring...? Maybe some roasted pecans, I'm a fan of those!

I'll be there. Not 100% sure what I'm going to bring yet. But I'll take a look at recipes in the near future and let you know so we don't duplicate. Can't wait!

This is a perfect opportunity to make the Buffalo Chicken dip recommended by Zach from The Bitten Word (http://thebittenword.typepad.com/thebittenword/2008/11/buffalo-chicken-dip.html). I'll bring that or, you know, just wing it.

I'm still not sure what I'll bring yet either. I might do one of my Midwest casseroles.

Hmmm...since I'm coming from work, and I don't really cook, I'll be bringing some wine and two guests!

Plan to come if work doesn't intervene - since I'm coming on Metro, I'll bring something portable that can't spill. Probably savory instead of sweet.

My boyfriend and I are hoping to throw our hat into the ring of DC food websites this year, so we'd love to meet you all to get our creative juices flowing. I'll most likely bring dips - my specialty!

I'm so excited that I'll actually be in town for this one after all. I'll bring booze, or maybe something with carrots from my garden if there are still any left! They're overwintering surprisingly well...

Happy New year and hope you all have fun. I would have loved to bring my "Turkey Kofta in cream and tomato curry" that I made here http://smcdc.wordpress.com/2009/12/22/and-the-smcdc-iron-chef-is/ but after 2 weeks of vacation not sure I can get off early to drive to DC from Herndon and then to Potomac MD. Maybe next time.

Capital Cooking said...

I'm sure there are electrical outlets, but you might want to bring an extension cord because I'm not sure where they are.

I'm so sorry that I missed the potluck. Are you planning another? Do DC foodies get together regularly? (I'm new in DC.)

Capital Cooking said...

The DC Food Bloggers plan a happy hour on the first Wednesday of every month. We probably won't have another potluck for a while, but we will have a happy hour in February. Check back on the blog for more details.
