On Saturday 2/28 The Capitol Steps are performing at the Ronald Reagan Building in downtown DC. If you have friends or family visiting, or just haven't had the chance to catch a show you will definitely laugh at their up-to-date political jokes. Their political satire pokes fun at everyone and anyone, so regardless of your stance on politics you are bound to have a great time. Boss Shepherd’s (513 13th Street NW; 202-347-2677) will serve Sunday brunch featuring live entertainment from 11am to 2pm starting this Sunday, March 1. The first fifty guests at brunch will receive a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot. Instilled with Executive Chef Jeremy Waybright’s southern inspiration, the new brunch menu boasts fresh takes on a variety of classic breakfast and lunch dishes, sure to please the palate of any guest.

Monday, March 2: Join EatWell DC and the Jewish Food Experience for a pre-Purim Palooza on Monday, March 2 being held at the Commissary. For $18, attendees will be able to feast on a bottomless buffet of appetizers including falafel, hummus, tzatziki, pita, and three kinds of hamantaschen; the evening will also feature drink specials. There will also be an a la carte Purim themed menu with kreplach, brisket sliders, latkes, and more! 10% of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Jewish Food Experience. Tuesday, March 3: Fans of the late Algeria in Vienna, VA will be pleased to know that the team behind Bazin’s Next Door will be opening its doors to the public for one night only to celebrate a Taco Pop-Up! Beginning March 4, G by Mike Isabella is turning over its kitchen to chef Jonah Kim for a month-long preview of Yona, the Japanese noodle bar and small plates restaurant he is opening in Ballston with Mike Isabella early this summer.
