Opening: Service Bar DC

Passion Fruit Sour
Service Bar DC (SBDC), the concept of veteran bartenders Chad Spangler and Glendon Hartley along bar owner Chris Willoughby, opens today!
Zombie
SBDC is a casual, neighborhood cocktail bar, with high quality cocktails at affordable prices. The Service Bar Menu includes an all-day happy hour with $7 classic cocktails. Additionally featured will be $7 Pop and Ponies (beer and a shot), and buy one get one shots. The “snug room” modeled after the small, private drinking rooms of 18th century pub culture will seat up to 6 and offer an exclusive “Snug” cocktail menu and amuse bouches to provide a communal tasting experience. Fried chicken-based bar bites will also be offered until close.
Carrot Margarita
The seasonal, rotating cocktail menus will be as interesting as the world travels, studies and experiences derived from Glendon and Chad’s extensive careers as bartenders. The curated menu includes cocktails such as “The Italian Bubble Coat” (which comes bottled and boxed) made with 10 spice Limonata, Eucalyptus-infused Maraschino, Menehune Tonic Syrup, Clarified OJ and Gin. “The Griselda Blanco” is made with lime, coconut syrup, cardamom bitters, grapefruit bitters, tequila, mezcal and served in a hula girl and the glassware and presentation are just as curated as the cocktails, well thought out and created with guest experience in mind.
Baked apple and pear G&T
Service Bar will open its doors to the public at 5:00pm. Guests who visit the bar that day will enjoy a complimentary cocktail from the classic cocktail menu by checking-in and/or posting on social media and tagging @ServiceBarDC and registering at ServiceBarDC.Eventbrite.com
