Sip and snack while expressing your creative side at Muse Paintbar in the Mosaic District. This is the 20th Muse to pop up nationwide but the first to come to the DC area.
Upon arrival, find your easel which will be set up with all the paints and brushes you'll need to create the masterpiece du jour. Before getting your hands dirty, be sure to order some tapas and wine or craft beer.
On the eve of the grand opening, instructor Anne Rankin, walked us through the step by step process of painting a DC themed "Starry Potomac" scene a la Van Gogh.
The music is bumping and guests giggle as their brushes take them on a personal artistic journey. Most painting sessions cost around $35 and can be scheduled based on the calendar on the Muse Paintbar website. Muse also offers a private painting room for events.
