Review: Panas

Great lunch at Panas in Dupont.  Cute spot to get some tasty empanadas.

I tried the CubaNovo filled with pork, the Fiesta Cheese and the Popeye with sauteed spinach.  The Popeye was my favorite!  The dough has a perfect sweet flavor.  The empanadas are smaller than Julia's empanadas, but there are more options to choose from on the menu.  They also offer a variety of dipping sauces and salads.

I tried the Quinoa salad with mushrooms, baby spinach and dried cranberries topped with a lemon dressing.  The other awesome thing about Panas is that they will deliver.  Bottom line:  Panas is a great lunch spot or a nice option for dinner delivery or take-out.

I pass that restaurant every time I go into Dupont and I'm always making a mental note to go there.

I'm a big spinach fan, so I'll have to make sure to get the popeye whenever I finally go.
