One of my favorite Italian restaurants in DC, Rialto, has a new menu that is more delicious than ever!
Begin with the Soft yellow corn polenta with truffled forest mushrooms, and the
Baked smoked mozzarella wrapped with smoked Italian pancetta.
Dive into the Tortelli pasta filled with pumpkin in a brown butter and sage sauce topped with almonds. I loved the addition of the crunchy nuts.
Try the grilled Branzino over sauteed Brussels sprouts and roasted pumpkin puree.
Save room for dessert and taste the carrot almond cake with French vanilla gelato.
The best was the panna cotta al cappuccino con salsa al caramello e Granella di nocciole. So creamy.

With over 15 years of experience, Lisi has brought Rialto an authentic flair for Italian culture and cuisine. Lisi is originally from Locorotando Italy, but ventured to Castellana Grotte, Italy where he spent five years in Culinary school and thereafter went on to some of the cities most notable restaurants. A native of Southern Italy, Lisi was brought up using Extra Virgin Olive Oil on all his dishes versus heavy creams and butter—a trend he will continue this fall and winter.
Inspired by authentic Italian culture and cuisine, Rialto is redefining the traditional dining experience in Georgetown with a romantic Venice ambiance and savory Italian fare. Rialto is owned and operated by The Rialto Group, a sister ownership of Thunder Burger and Bodega, also nearby M street neighbors. The partnership includes Ben Kirane, in collaboration with Moe Idrissi, Joe Idrissi and Chef Lisi.
Rialto is open for dinner 7 days a week and happy hour Monday through Friday 4-7, along with $25 3-course meal specials and half price wine on Mondays. Rialto is available for events and features an exclusive private event spaces accommodating up to 100 guests.
