- Design and Decor: Small and inviting, with tons of natural light. The seating is split about half and half between the outdoor patio, and the indoor seating with a few high top tables located indoors. A seat at the counter directly in front of the open kitchen is a prime spot for engaging in the full "behind-the-scenes" experience that Open Kitchen is known for, but flat screen televisions let you see all the action inside the kitchen even when you are not seated at the counter

Perfect Pair: Open Kitchen
Friday, May 21, 2010
Review: Open Kitchen
We started with an Antipasto Platter with a rabbit terrine. This appetizer is perfect to share with friends.
We enjoyed the Shrimp Provencal, Steamed Mussels and Gourmet Pulled Pork Pappardelle. The Provencal dish was my favorite with sautéed shrimp, tomatoes, garlic and spaghetti-cut zucchini, finished with olive oil.
Dinner was not complete without the Guinness cupcakes and Panna Cotta. I left full and satisfied. Make sure to head over to Open Kitchen to check it out soon!

Coming Soon: Open Kitchen
Open Kitchen is set to open in July and will feature commercial kitchen rentals, cooking classes, a bistro and culinary events. Last night I tried some of the dishes from the Bistro menu. My favorite is the Ziti with Fennel and Spicy Italian Sausage.
