Loud, crowded, small...After waiting for about 30 minutes for a table, we decided to sit at the bar. We were treated to a round of drinks for our wait. We've been trying to check out all of the neighborhood spots and Cafe
Nema was on our list. The music is excellent. Don't come here if you want a quiet evening and good conversation. We tried the
sambousas, triangular pastries filled with jalapeno-spiced meat. Tasty! I also liked the
Kalankal: chicken stewed in tomatoes, onions, peppers and spices. Great jazz, good food, cool art, fun bartender...I'll be back for more.
