CAPITAL COOKING GOES TO OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA - COOKING WITH WINE

As the cool months start approaching, join Capital Cooking's host Lauren DeSantis at the Old Town Food & Wine Festival in Old Town Alexandria as she demonstrates how to heat up your life while cooking with wine. The festival runs October 10 & 11 with DeSantis' seminar on Saturday and Sunday at 3:00pm.

The winemakers of Virginia converge in Old Town Alexandria for Culinary Seminars featuring the region's best chefs and sommeliers and a Grand Tasting of small-batch artisan wines. DeSantis' menu includes: Mushroom Ragout on a Puff Pastry with Sautéed Spinach, Creamy Chicken Marsala, and Port Poached Pears topped with Zabligione.
