Manolis Restaurant in Vathy. I didn't finsh the rest of my reviews from Greece, but I thought back about Manoli's because we made Moussaka last week in my cooking 101 class and Manoli's was the first place that I tasted it.
Manoli's has the best clay oven food on the island and Corey enjoyed some lamb that was cooked in it. Manolis has been the heart and soul of Vathi for decades. It brings back great memories of dining on the beach with the wind blowing in our hair. We enjoyed a late and lingering lunch. Excellent wine from the barrel, Corey's favorite ouzo, baked foods from the oven, and beets.
