Break out your martini glasses next week and enjoy the libations!
Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announces the return of one of the region’s most spirited events – DC Cocktail Week, when Washington restaurants showcase their best sips to diners. Kicking off on Monday, November 14 and running through Sunday, November 20, guests will be able to enjoy specially crafted cocktails paired with delicious bites at participating restaurants and bars in the Metropolitan Washington area.
Diners can enjoy DC Cocktail Week at hot spots featured on the city’s inaugural Michelin Guide 2016 Bib Gourmand list, like Kyirisan in Shaw and the Atlas District’s Maketto, which was also named as the RAMMYS 2016 New Restaurant of the Year. Other participating restaurants represented on the 2016 Bib Gourmand list include China Chilcano, Oyamel and Zaytinya, mainstay favorites in Washington’s energetic Penn Quarter.
Restaurants participating in DC Cocktail Week for the first time include: newly opened Aperto in Foggy Bottom; EatBar on Barrack’s Row; The Heights in Columbia Heights; Quarter+Glory, Tilt Side Barand Radiator in the 14th St. Corridor; Maggiano’s Little Italy in Chevy Chase, MD; McClellan’s Retreat, Iron Gate, and Nazca Mochica in Dupont Circle; 14K Restaurant, Brick & Mortar, Ocean Prime and The Partisan in Downtown Washington; Homestead and Twisted Horn in Petworth; Whaley’s on the Capitol Waterfront; and Clarity in Vienna, VA.
Guests seeking a more in-depth cocktail pairing experience during the week can visit One Eight Distilling, and enjoy cocktails paired with a thoughtfully curated menu by Well Fed Hospitality Group’s Matt Baker and Kieran Lahman of Mindful Restaurant Group.
