Ella's Wood Fired Pizza is breaking out of the usual pizzeria mold. The downtown eatery is now offering a new weekend brunch menu.
Ella's brunch includes staples such as eggs Benedict, waffles, pancakes and, of course, breakfast pizza. The central location between Metro Center and Gallery Place metro stations makes Ella's a great brunch spot before visiting the Spy Museum, National Portrait Gallery or the now open annual outdoor Downtown Holiday Market.
From the brunch menu, we recommend the Eggs Benedict with prosciutto and served with yummy house potatoes. The Owen Omelette with bacon, fresh veggies and fontina cheese is another great eggy option.
Pair your breakfast dish with bottomless classic mimosas or try one of their other brunch cocktails like the lime green Coconut Basil Mimosa, Peach Bellini or Spicy Maria.
Ella's also offers their signature wood fired pizzas and other specialties throughout the weekend. The classic Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas are very fresh, delicious and always a good choice for the table.
