Get Your Tickets to the Citi Taste of Tennis!

My favorite event of the year is HERE! On July 30, premier culinary and tennis event, Citi Taste of Tennis, is serving up tennis stars and award-winning D.C. chefs for a night of food and fun at Hamilton Live! Coinciding with the Citi Open Tournament, Citi Taste of Tennis will be the official Citi Open Player Party benefitting the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation. Highlights of the event include an exciting cooking demonstration with Celebrity Chef Edward Lee and world No. 5 and Wimbledon finalist, Kevin Anderson.

I’ve been a tennis lover ever since I could swing a racquet and a foodie ever since I tried my first tasting menu…so you could say I am pretty ecstatic to attend this event! Tickets include a night filled with fantastic foods, tons of photo-worthy opportunities, incredible cooking demonstrations, games to play, and loud music to party the night away! History of the Citi Open:

In July of 1969, the inaugural tournament became one of the first open professional tennis tournaments held in the United States. The Citi Open, formerly the Legg Mason Tennis Classic, has since been part of some of the most innovative changes in tennis, including blue courts, instant replay/video boards in the stadium, US Open Series, Sunday Main Draw start and, starting in 2009, an ATP "500" level tournament. Continuing that theme, the Event introduced a WTA International Level tournament in 2012.
