Food News Saturday

Due to a lack of Internet, Food News Friday is temporarily Food News Saturday. Here's some of the headlines from this week.

Dean Gold of Dino in Cleveland Park is scouting locations to open another restaurant. Gold tells TBD he is considering locations in Dupont Circle, Columbia Heights and Capitol Hill. Although the restaurant will be inspired by Italian cuisine and wine culture, the new location will not be a second Dino. Capital Cooking had the pleasure of working with Gold earlier in the summer. Check out some behind the scenes photos here

According to Prince of Petworth, Midtown Cafe is coming to Georgetown. Look for the new restaurant at 1639 Wisconsin NW.

Taylor Gourmet Deli opened its Bethesda location on Thursday. The popular deli has locations on H St NW and in Mt. Vernon Square.

It was a sad week for Top Chef DC fans as our beloved Tiffany Derry was told to pack up her knives and go. I think it's safe to say the show will be a little lackluster without her.
