In celebration of the release of Cook This Now: 120 Easy and Delectable Dishes You Can’t Wait to Make (Oct. 4, 2011), New York Times Food Columnist and James Beard award-winner Melissa Clark will speak at Sixth & I on December 7th at 7:00 pm. Please join us for the mouth-watering event, one of several upcoming programs highlighting new cookbooks.
Clark’s personal collection of recipes offers unique ways to help cooks navigate the kitchen using seasonal ingredients. With a year’s worth of recipes and an emphasis on farmer’s markets, Cook This Now makes delicious, organic, local meals easy to make. From baked apples with fig and cardamom crumble to honey-roasted carrot salad with arugula and almonds, Clark takes you on a journey through her private experiences with cooking and provides tips to enhance your experiences in the kitchen.
The award-winning cook will dish out ideas based on years of experience in her Brooklyn kitchen. The event will be followed by a book signing.
