On Monday, May 21, 2012, the American Lamb Jam tour will stop in Washington DC for the second annual cooking competition, hosted by 94.7 Fresh FM’s Tommy McFly. I'll be one of the judges for the event. It is sure to be a Lambtastic Time!
From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., 18 top local chefs will converge at Eastern Market to create luscious lamb dishes paired with local beer and wine and compete for bragging rights and the opportunity to battle other top lamb loving chefs at a Master Lamb Jam competition at Savor the Central Coast in San Luis Obispo, California on Sunday, September 30. Guests will learn about lamb through a butchery demonstration and honored chefs will take home awards for “Best in Show” in each of four cut categories, including leg, loin, shank and shoulder and a “People’s Choice” award, determined by attending fans of lamb.
