- Design and Decor: Rock and roll décor, including, a trendy bar, graffiti highlighted banquette, trendy booths, and an ivy colored library room.
- Food: Burgers that rock!
- Drinks: Full line of drafts, bottled beer, red wine, white wine, and cocktails. We loved the beer selection with 24 bottled beers and 23 draft beers.
- Service: Exceptional. Our server was super knowledgeable and made great recommendations.
- Would I go back? Yes.
Thunder Burger, located in the heart of Georgetown, has the best burgers in town. I was amazed by the selection with 15 different burger options!
We went on Wild Wednesday and the new flavor of the day was shark. So we started with some fried shark nuggets. They weren't bad, but not our favorite.
We also tried some mini corn dogs with honey mustard and those were very tasty. Chef Ryan Fichter brought out a special treat that wasn't on the menu. Recently working in Hawaii, he wanted to show us one of his favorite dishes, the Tuna Poke.
I loved the fresh and spicy taste.
After perusing the menu, we consulted with our server who recommended the Love Me Tender Burger. After one bite of the Kobe Beef Burger, Topped With Tillamook Aged White Cheddar, Tomato and Remoulade, I was in heaven. I added some sauteed mushrooms. I was sold! This was the best burger I've ever had. The meat was so tender and delicious.
Corey tried the Born to be Wild with boar meat, pineapple and Havarti cheese. It was also really good.
We ended the meal with the tiramisu paired with the Widmer Russian Raspberry Imperial Stout. We left full and satisfied. I'm already planning our next visit for more burger heaven.
