Around the Globe: The Grand Solmar

After hours of traveling, there's nothing better than checking into your hotel to be greeted with a complimentary margarita.

The Grand Solmar's staff is extremely friendly and helpful.  The food is fabulous and the drinks will make you never want to leave.
The rooms are spacious and have beautiful balconies overlooking the pool and ocean.  Grand Solmar is set along the private beaches of Playa Solmar at the extreme southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula in Cabo, Mexico.
In addition to spectacular views of the ocean, Grand Solmar has three infinity pools at the resort, one of which is only open to adults.
No need for us to check out the adult pool because I didn't see any children at the resort the entire time.
I loved swimming up to the bar for cocktails and sushi at lunch.

The hotel gave me a grand welcome with Capital Cooking shaped into the sand and a beautiful shell sand art on the bed.  How sweet!
We had a lovely stay and hope to be back someday soon!
