Vinoteca has re-opened their back patio (a.k.a. The Plaza). The 11th Street local favorite kicked off the season with a Champagne and Hot Dog themed shindig.
The Vinoteca Plaza is a great place to gather after work for one (or three) of their seasonal cocktails, such as the perfectly refreshing Amaro Punch. There is a range of grill items available outside and their dinner menu also has an impressive ingredient-centric list which includes two of my favorite snacks - Jamon Iberico and Pan con Tomate. A sucker for outdoor dining, I can also highly recommend Vinoteca's Plaza for a boozy brunch locale.
Last but not least, this wouldn't be a proper posting about Vinoteca's Plaza without mentioning their Bocce court. Made from crushed oyster shells shipped form the coast of Washington state, this Ancient Roman ball-tossing past time brings all the boys (and girls) the yard. This writer had a blast taking her four person team to victory, squashing the house pro's team.
