Event: Spirit of the Festival

On Tuesday, November 30th, the Washington D.C. International Wine & Food Festival will present Spirit of the Festival, a celebration of Washington’s dynamic cocktail scene. The event will take place in the Atrium Ballroom at the Ronald Reagan Building from 7:00-9:00PM, and provide guests with a unique, "insider" look at how chefs and mixologists collaborate and cooperate to create brilliant dishes and libations together.
Five top chef and mixology teams will participate at Spirit of the Festival, including:

Cognac, Herradura Blanco Tequila, Woodford Reserve, Patron XO Cafe and Hendrick’s Gin.
Ellen Gray, co-owner of Equinox Restaurant, is helping to organize Spirit of the Festival in conjunction with the Washington D.C. International Wine & Food Festival, taking place at the Ronald Reagan Building February 10-13, 2011. Gray notes, “Our mission is to continue to enhance the way the DC dining public sees bartenders and chefs through an unforgettable food and spirit tasting experience.”
