To start off, Dimitri Moshovitis will introduce his Shrimp dish that will make you feel like you’re in the Greek Islands.  It is quick and easy: the shrimp is seared with olive oil and mixed with  tomato, dill, ouzo, and cream.

Next, we will make the Spanakopita - a spinach pie with feta cheese, onions, egg, and seasoning.  It is typically eaten as a snack in Greece.  Lauren DeSantis will show you her baked version and Dimitri will show you how to fry it.  Tune in to see which fits your craving.

Then, Lauren will teach the most recognized of Greek dishes: Moussaka.  Moussaka is a casserole made by layering eggplant with a spiced meat filling and topped off with a creamy bechamel sauce that is baked to golden perfection.

Finally, For a sweet Mediterranean delight, Lauren will show her Baklava: a baked pastry made of layers with chopped nuts and sweetened syrup.
