ZENTAN, debuts a tempting
$85 per person Chef’s Tasting menu. With seasonal recipes created by renowned
Chef Susur Lee, which are artfully prepared by Executive Chef Jaime Montes De
Oca, this new dinner option at ZENTAN begins October 19, 2011. It is available
exclusively on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the 45-seat
private dining room, and is priced at $85 per person with wine pairings
(exclusive of tax and gratuity).
The five-course Chef’s Tasting menu begins with appetizers such as
Escolar with pickled jalapeño, jicama and a shallot-sesame dressing, (I had this at the Moet dinner and it is amazing) and
Chicken Consommé with winter melon, dried ham and Goji berry.
Stellar entrées include Slow Cooked Salmon with celery root apples and white
soy cream and Creekstone Farms Short Ribs with spicy bok choy and Yukon
gold potato puree. For the perfect ending, guests will enjoy the
Five-Spice Apple Tart with salted caramel gelato. (So good!)
