Fun Food Products to get ready for Halloween

Specialty food makers are scaring up plenty of treats for Halloween this year.

Lauren's Picks: 

• For the timid yet curious, try a hint of heat in Theo Chocolate’s Ghost Chili Caramels, winner of the 2011 sofi Award for the outstanding confection of the year.  I loved the spicy kick.

Scare guests with Mrs. Renfro’s Ghost Pepper Salsa or Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce from Dave’s Gourmet.    This salsa is extremely hot!!  I added it to my chicken tortilla soup.

 

Try Somebody's Mother's Ghostly White Chocolate topping.  You can add this to ice cream or even make some fun cocktails.
