Join me at 555 Cochon on Sunday!

Bring on the bacon!  Attention Pig Lovers:  555 Cochon is coming back to DC this April and I'm judging again this year!

COCHON555 is a friendly chef competition focused on raising awareness of heritage breed pigs in the chef and agriculture communities across the country. Each of the 5 chefs is challenged to devise a menu that uses the whole pig, snout to tail within 7 days.

Don't worry, your vote will count too.  The voting is split 51% audience and 49% judges. Judges sample all dishes and vote on three categories including presentation, utilization and flavor. Guests of the the event sample the dishes and vote for their favorite "BITE OF THE DAY". The winner is announced as the “Prince or Princess of Porc” and goes on to compete in the national event, Grand Cochon at the 30th Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.

This event is one of my favorites!  This year, you'll get to taste pig dishes from:
