Recipe from Romantic Dinner for 2: Romance Cocktail

We've been out and about doing cooking demonstrations and promoting the Capital Cooking Cookbook.
I'm not going to lie...sometimes I just feel absolutely exhausted.  I love meeting fans and teaching people about cooking, but the traveling, set-up, and clean-up can really wear me down!  We're taking a little break for a couple of weeks and then I'll be teaching a cooking class on August 19th in St. Louis with Chef Rocky Fino at the Kitchen Conservatory.  With all of the craziness in our lives, it is important to remember the ones that you love and make something special for them.  Hopefully, you watched my Romantic Dinner for 2 episode and now I can share one of the recipes with you.

Add some Romance to your evening with this sexy cocktail.  The Romance Cocktail was seen on the television show and is also featured in the Capital Cooking Cookbook.

Romance
As seen on the “Romantic Dinner for 2” episode with Nathan Picciotto

½ shot Cointreau
1ounce melon juice
2 ounces Champagne
Garnish: melon slices

Shake vodka, Cointreau and melon juice with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Top off with champagne. Garnish with a piece of melon.
