Spilled Milk Caters for Capital Cooking

Spilled Milk Catering not only prepares execellent food, but the guys are a ton of fun!  They are happy to cater everything from private intimate dinners to large corporate buffets, from office breakfasts and lunches to large cocktail parties. Spilled Milk Catering started as a fun project for Amit, Raj, and James.  Amit brought his previous restaurant and chef experience (having worked at Nage in Washington, DC) and his love of bold, exotic flavors. Raj brought with him his business acumen (having formed his own successful company) and his pastry experience (he bakes a mean carrot cake). And James brought with him his obsession and experience with Italian cooking (having taken Italian cooking classes in Bologna, Italy) and his love of rustic, home-style cuisine.

Spilled Milk treated the crew of Capital Cooking to some tasty bites.

SMC Shrimp Cocktail – Roasted Garlic Shrimp served in Shot Glasses with a Bloody Mary Cocktail Sauce
Awesome presentation and they taste delicious!

Indian Chicken Samosas served with a Tamarind Dipping Sauce
We just couldn't get enough of the dipping sauce!

Spicy Tuna served in Wonton Ice Cream Cones
The ice cream cones were so cute and I loved the fresh flavors and spicy kick.

Tortilla Espanola with Roasted Red Pepper, Asparagus, and a Smoked Paprika Aioli
I'm not kidding...all of the food was completely yummy!

Chicken and Spanish Ham Croquettes served with a Dijon Sauce

Indian Spiced Lamb Lollipops served with a Mint Yogurt Dipping Sauce
These lamb chops had the perfect flavor combination with the yogurt sauce.

 After all of the savory bites, Rachel and I got to the dessert.  Rachel muddled the cherries while I crushed the ice to make my famous Chocolate Covered Cherry Cocktails with 360 vodka.
