Review: RedRocks Restaurant

Initial thoughts:

* Design and Decor:  Small restaurant with nice patio outdoor seating.  Casual feel.
* Wait: No wait on Sunday afternoon
* Food: Delicious. The Burrata melts in your mouth.
* Drinks:  Solid beer list
* Price: Not bad.  Lunch/Dinner for 2 under $50 with drinks.
* Service: Friendly
* Would I go back? Yes.

RedRocks is a cute Columbia Heights neighborhood spot that is great to enjoy some outside patio time.  The brick oven pizza is outstanding.  We had the Cipolla with fresh mozzarella, caramelized onions, and house fennel sausage.  I loved it.  You can't go wrong with the Burrata di bufala - baby arugula, tomato, olive oil & house-baked bread.  I think RedRocks is better than 2Amys.  The pizza dough has so much flavor and the crust is perfect with a slightly charred bottom.  I can't wait to go back for more Neapolitan-style pizza.
