Public Tenley celebrated their one year anniversary in style with great specials on their appetizers: wings, sliders, pizza and as well as Blue Moon and Peroni. It was a beautiful Saturday and the whole Tenley neighborhood turned out for the party! Families enjoyed the moon bounce, face painting and balloon animals while Lisa and the Reverbs, a local sixties cover band provided great tunes from 1-4 on the upstairs patio over looking the festivities. Friendship Animal Hospital, Tenley Sport and Health and TD Bank all offered free prizes and raffles to celebrate Public Tenley's first birthday.
The appetizers reflected Public Tenley's traditional sports lounge food. Wings come in a variety of sauces: buffalo wings with hot sauce (X, XX or XXX), barbecue, my favorite, garlic Parmesan cheese and Kentucky honey mustard. They are juicy and tender and you can order them in large batches so that everyone at the table can have some. The crowd really enjoyed the wings and were able to sample all the levels of hot sauces. I would definitely order these while watching the game.
Three kinds of sliders, beef, veggie and pulled pork will also appeal to all sports fans. The sliders come with yum yum sauce, pickles, lettuce and onion. The sliders are good sized and come in pairs so you can try each kind.
Public Tenley's first anniversary was a great time. The weather was perfect for the day and the appetizers and beer hit the spot. When looking for a perfect location to watch your favorite team Public Tenley should be on the top of your list.
