This summer's cocktail trend is grapefruit. Dan Searing of Room 11, plays up the tart citrus fruit in Chaos Theory, a spicy tequila cocktail.
.75 ounces Citra hop-infused Sauza Hornitos plata
.5 ounces grapfruit juice
.5 ounces simple syrup (at a 1 to 1 ratio)
2 ounces of Belgian Triple
Shake first three ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe, top with Triple Karmeliet and garnish with a light sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
